Notes: The Devil's Work...

I really like the illustration for this week's cartoon. I'll be honest now, I'm not sure I did the joke itself justice - I tried several other ways of depicting 'idle hands' but none of them worked. Nonetheless, despite the lack of deckchairs or magazine reading hands I originally thought might be involved, I like the look of it.

I also had a lot more detail in it at one point, but it was too much. Too distracting. However seeing as I went to the trouble of drawing an oddly friendly looking demon tormenting lost souls (who might be screaming in agony, but could also just be trying to get his attention) - I thought I would show you, so here's a detail:



heh heh heh... he reminds me of the cookie monster....
