Stick-Man: Pt I - making tea.

Stick-Man making tea

Now that you know where Stick-Mans haircut came from, this is the first of three drawings of Stick-Man I am going to share with you. I did them in college, so I suppose 7/8 years ago or something. Or is it more. I dunnoe.

Anyway, when you have seen all three you may be inclined to agree with Bif's assesment that my talent withered when I sobered up. Or at least that there is a link between the difference in styles of then and now and my drinking habits!

And that strange obsession you had with tea seems to be gone

The haircut happened in either Feb or March 1997.

Maybe we should do it again on the 10 year anniversary, just to prove to Bif that not all your madness is/was alcohol related?

Actually, on that note, I still drink, (albeit not quite to the same levels of excess as regularly), and I'm also less talented/more boring than I used to be.

Is it possible that our years of drinking might be have something to do with this problem rather than being a solution?

You know, I'm actually tempted every now and then to get a mohawk again.

But there are always a host of boring reasons not too. And one not so boring: Pilar would probably kill me.

We could do an experiment, as you still drink you could go on a 2 week bender and see how it affects creativity....?

If I got a mohawk as well in those two weeks, both our bodies would probably turn up...

1997 doesn't seem as long ago as it feels really... feels like another lifetime...

I'd really like to have one of my college haircuts now, but I've always been a bit unimpressed with aging media types having stupid haircuts.

GIven you're not married and don't have kids, I think you'd be a better candidate for the 'creative drinking experiment'.

9 years is a long time.
