Stick-Man: Pt II - Missed the bed

So in case you're not getting the picture, I drank a lot when I was in college. Who didn't right? Anyway, before I had the above haircut I still drank quite a bit. It was on a morning that I awoke as depicted above (albeit with more hair) when I stumbled into my next door neighbour and friend (and collaborator) Emmet who was equally hung over.

Emmet had an excellent idea. "Let's shave your head" he said. It really was an excellent idea so I agreed. We hacked off the hair on one side of my head with an almost blunt scissors when Emmet had the even beter idea of not shaving my head completely, but giving me a Mohawk.

So he hacked off the hair on the other side of my head, leaving a wobbly mohawk on the top of my head. Then we got out the shaving foam and razor and Stick-Man was truly born.

These sketches are fairly accurate depictions of my college years. These Stick-Man animations are based on little comic strips I did at the time which were considerably more humourous then these sketches, which are pretty depressing! I might scan some of those strips too when I have the time.
