Bosco: Flaherty's Garden VS Faherty's Garden.

I have a bet on. It's a big one. And I think I'm going to lose. :(

There's a lot of money riding on this too... Remember Bosco? Remember the stop motion animation with the dog who said woof and the excellent looking crow and I think there was a little girl in it too?

Was it Flaherty's garden or Faherty's garden?

I was certain it was Flaherty - as in "Woof, said Flaherty" but I put a bet on that it was, with my opponent certain it was "Woof, said Faherty".

We did a google search for 'bosco fahertys garden' and no results came back, whereas a search for "bosco flahertys garden" returned over a 100 results. None of them 100% conclusive though as most of the relevant ones were from discussion boards.

Still, I figured I was safe enough, with NO results for the 'Faherty' version...

BUT, I later did a search for "bosco faherty's garden" - with the apostrophe included and three results come back.

And the more I ponder it the more I wonder if it might actually have been 'Faherty'.

As I said, there's money riding on this, can anyone provide a trustworthy source to confirm the correct version? Please let it be Flaherty...

Please leave a comment if you know. In fact leave a comment anyway voting for which one you remember it as...!

Notes: Drink Problem...

Yup, this week's funny cartoon is another style experiment. This is a style I use for other stuff (some of the pics of me and Bif on the site are pretty much in this style).

I want to do more of the cartoons in this style, and you'll probably see me playing around with various other styles too. Bif reckons this style looks a bit reminiscent of some other cartoons but he couldn't put his finger on it - so if you think it looks like someone elses work, do let us know!

I tried something else this week too, but it just didn't work, still I thought I'd throw it up here since I went to the trouble of doing it. It just didn't pan out the way I had intended, and while finishing it I got the inspiration to use the style I finally used.

I'm pretty happy with the way the cartoon finally ended up this week though - I hope you don't mind all this playing about with styles, but I just felt things needed a bit of shaking up recently...

Anyway, here's the rejected version:

It soon became apparent that Reg had a serious problem with alcohol.
