Rafa's Spooky Ledger On Film
You see, that's how The Joker should look. Not like this. My attention was, once again, Drawn to these galleries of Batvillians by Rafa Toro. His Mad Hatter is particularly spooky.
Frank started up a bit of an argument over Heath Ledger's suitability to play The Joker. I can't and will not ever accept that he can pull off the role but there you go. If you're that interested in the movie, you might want to check out Batman On Film for all the latest gossip. Rumour has it that John Cusack could be lined up for the role of Harvey Dent and while I know it's the generally held consensus that Cusack is a gift from God, I wouldn't be particularly fond of that piece of casting either. Other candidates include Josh Lucas, Liev Schreiber or Ryan Phillippe. I could imagine Liev Schreiber alright, but Ryan Phillippe? And, forgive my ignorance, but who the hell is Josh Lucas?

If Heath Ledger needed inspiration then he needs to look no further than Grant Morrison and Dave McKean’s ‘Arkham Asylum’ Almost 15 years on and still Giant Batman classic.
The best graphic novel I ever ‘borrowed’. That madness could only be portrayed by someone like Crispin Glover, who is naturally a bit off kilter. Ledger would really have to dig deep for this one if Nolan was aiming for this interpretation, which I hope he is. Maybe Ledger could stick his knob in a jar of angry wasps whilst smiling…we will see.
2 Face Harvey Dent – Denis Leary would do it for me. John Cusack I can see it and Liev Schreiber sure acceptable, but Ryan Phillippe?? Are they going to put the nipples back on the batsuit next? But hey it could be worse, Sylvester Stallone could be Robin!
Yeah, that's almost as rediculous as Stallone doing a new Rocky movie at the age of 60...oh, hang on

Really? What's he going to do? Go back in to Afghanistan to fight all the guys he helped in Rambo III.
Apparently his daughter gets kidnapped in Myanmar (Burma) and he sets off to rescue her. I hope he meets the Predator portrayed by Heath Ledger.
Just please don't do a Judge Dredd II. What a disaster! Maybe someone could do a remake in 50 years time.
Actually, i think enough time has passed for people to look at doing Judge Dredd again - but doing it properly this time.
