Ken's Pure Legend Drama

I recently rewatched the entire series of Pure Mule and was quite impressed by the improvement in the later episodes. So I was pretty interested in seeing how RTE's new series, Legend, would turn out. Now I watched the first episode twice and the second episode, which was on last night, just to give it a fair shot. And I quite like it. Again it's not the most original but it's done well and you don't have to reinvent the wheel every time you get behind the camera. At times it seems to be trying too hard to be quirky, though more so in the first episode than the second. Writer Ken Harmon does seem to have a good ear for dialogue, which is where an awful lot of Irish drama really falls down. Either way, it'll be interesting to see how it develops and, at the very least, it's not a chore to sit through which is more than can be said about alot of RTE's output.

Bif, what do you be doing watching all that old rubbish on the telly? It's poison for the mind;you should be out there in the fields playing hurling and chasing women instead of being stuck indoors watching that over produced, saccharine rubbish.

Legend my arse!

I absolutely LOVE legend!! It's just....LEGEND!!! I watched all of the episodes and then I missed the last one and I was so RAGING! Willy has to be my FAVORITE character, and Bianca too but I LOVE Willy!!
Whats the name of the song at the end of the second episode (i think its the second?) when Zoey runs upstairs screaming at Fridge "leave me alone! I want my Mammy!" and skittles Starts crying and Fridge just sits on the stairs head in hands? yeah, whats the name of the song tha plays there? My Dad doesn't like Legend because he says it is unrealistic, but me and my brother love it!!LEGEND ROCKS!!!

I haven't a clue on either song but it's a little annoying that RTE wouldn't provide somewhere you could find out.

Damn and its such a cool song too...
it was kinda like 'and have you ever made love to a beautiful girl something made you realise something aint such a bad world, heeeey mister, NOW you're livin'
or something like that. anyway, legend rocks, but i seriously dont think that RTE will give them a longer run.
I wish they would though, Legend made me actually look FORWARD to Mondays! now THATS something amazing
