My Father's Obscene Free House Pal

Am I the only one who can't pass those sitepal ads, mostly on technorati, without getting them to say something obscene?

A business student from around these parts, Cork, has set up a website to raise money to buy a house because he wants to be a property invester. Does the world really need another one so badly? Curses on you milliondollarhomepage, curses! Seriously though, do those ads have any actual value to anyone?

A more worthwhile use of internet technology is My Father's Hand, which I stumbled upon at Drawn. Samuel Wray has Alzheimers and Parkinsons. He is being cared for full-time by his wife. He was also a prolific and hugely talented illustrator. So his daughter Amanda has started scanning and posting these drawings on the blog. You can also buy greeting cards and prints of the drawings in their cafepress store, with the proceeds going to Samuel's care.

Apparently we have a competition running at the new funny cartoon? Frank, I suspect, should restrain from leaving these comments until he's had time to sleep on it.
